Position Overview: The Project Manager / HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing computer refurbishment projects and managing human resources functions. This individual will work closely with the management team and employees to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and finalize refurbishment projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work plans.
  • Coordinate resources and manage project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project completion.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and resolve issues that arise during the project, escalating when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements. Provide HR support and guidance to management and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and human resources, preferably in the IT or electronics recycling industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading teams to successful outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in project management software and HR management systems.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to quality and excellence.
